New Hope Elementary PTO
We are so thankful to have such amazing teachers and staff at New Hope!
Each Spring, we celebrate them all week long with breakfast, lunch, treats and more! This year Teacher Appreciation Week is March 16-20 and the theme is
Toy Story - “We love our teachers to infinity and beyond.”
We have some really fun things planned all week long, please be sure to follow us on social media to see what we’re up to each day!
If your child would like to participate, we’ve included some completely optional, free, at-home ideas that match each day’s theme. Participation is completely optional — even a small handwritten note can brighten their day!
Monday – Buzz Mission: Fueling Up
Write a note that says, “Thanks for helping me go to infinity and beyond!” or draw a Super Teacher Mission Badge.
Tuesday – Slinky Dog Fun
Make an accordion-fold “slinky” paper with a compliment on each fold or write how your teacher helps you “stretch” your brain.
Wednesday – Pizza Planet
Draw a pizza and write why your teacher is “a slice above the rest!” or add a little green alien saying, “Ooooooh! We are grateful for you!”
Thursday – Bo Peep
Draw a flower with kind words on each petal or write a message -“Thank you for helping me grow!”
Friday – The Claw
Create a “The Claw has chosen you!” thank-you card or make a simple “Best Teacher in the Galaxy” certificate.

Why Should I Join the PTO?
We want our children to learn in a kind and loving environment. We want our teachers to receive additional support as a result of strong parent involvement. We bring these goals together and support our school by hosting events, coordinating volunteer activities, and fundraising.
